I am a multimedia artist based in Dorset, UK. Rooted in the therapeutic arts, my photographic work often depicts tangible processing and communication.
I favour nature and the immersive affect it brings me, exploring the constructs of self-exploration and the wider context of conservation.
These concepts are echoed in my artworks that involve paint, drawing and installation to further explore visual communication and expression.
I have been able to channel my 3D artwork into a small business, Alucinor, creating intricate dreamcatcher jewellery and wall hangings. This has led to fundraising for local charities and networking with local arts therapists and community groups. For more information, please see direct website pages.
With keen interests in wildlife, I have experienced two voluntary primate conservation projects abroad. In 2014 I travelled to Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa to the Vervet Monkey rehabilitation haven, W.A.T.C.H. Then in 2019 I travelled to Sabah in Borneo, Malaysia to volunteer at the world-renowned Orangutan conservation centre, Sepilok. During my time in both places, I was able to take once in a lifetime imagery, whilst respecting the realities of the environments in which I was working within. For more information, please see direct website pages.
I am passionate about utilising the creative arts for inclusion, health and wellbeing and am available for commission for photographic and community arts. Please do send me an email if you would like to discuss anything further, it would be great to hear from you.
Thank you for visiting my website, I hope you enjoy what you find and gain inspiration. Please feel free to browse through the different pages.
Creating sets the mind on a journey of obstacles and solutions.
